Common Questions

Before you reach out

These are the questions most clients ask first. If yours isn't here, just ask.

There's no planning fee. We earn a commission from the hotels, operators, and suppliers we book — the same commission you'd forfeit by booking directly, with none of the work and none of the access.

We start with a conversation — fifteen minutes by phone or a back-and-forth by email. I ask questions, you answer honestly. From there, I put together a proposal with specific properties, itineraries, and a cost breakdown. You approve, revise, or start over. Nothing gets booked until you're confident it's right.

For most trips, six to twelve months gives us the best options. For safaris, ski chalets, or peak season bookings in popular destinations, twelve to eighteen months is better. That said, I've put together excellent last-minute trips — reach out regardless of timing and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

Most of them. I plan across six continents and maintain active relationships with hotels and operators in all of the regions we cover. For a handful of niche destinations, I work with trusted partners who have ground-level expertise. I'll always tell you when that's the case.

Access, knowledge, and relationships. Booking engines show you what's publicly available at published rates. We access rates and perks through preferred partner programs that aren't bookable directly — room upgrades, complimentary amenities, guaranteed early check-in, and connections with hotel GMs that make a difference when things need adjusting mid-trip.

Professionals and families who value their time more than the hours it would take to research a trip properly. Most clients have a household income well above the national average and have outgrown booking sites — not because they can't use them, but because they've had one mediocre trip too many and decided the alternative is worth it.
